"in 1486, in the silver-rich Tyrol, Archduke Sigismund minted the first example of that coin which to this day
is probably the best known of all coins: the thaler. The thaler that he created had a silver content equivalent
in value to a gold florin and for this reason it was first called a "Guldiner". The Tyrolean Guldiner initiated
a development that was to be of great significance for Europe and ultimately for the world."
